Jawahar who is 31 years old, reached Al-Rehab Rural Hospital, with unstable vital signs punctuated by severe labor pain and the fetal position (foetal) was seriously dangerous, along with an open uterus ‘’ the problem is that Al-Rehab hospital doesn’t have a cesarean-section. In the meantime, there is no way to transfer her to a specialized hospital due to the distance and the lack of safe environment for her due to the heavy rain. Therefore, I will try my best to save Jawahar’s and her first baby’s lives ‘‘ the doctor said with determination. Actually, this is what always happens in Al-Rehab hospital, everyone in the hospital does his/her best to keep the mother and her fetus safe. Al-Rehab Rural Hospital is located in Al-Qafar district, where it is considered the only hospital that provides emergency obstetric services in the area; in addition, it is the only hospital in the district. The district receives many internally displaced (IDP) from different governorates, which consequently leads the hospital to have a great a burden of managing the massive number with their own humble and limited resources and equipment. “We never mind to save more people’s lives. We would rather to work days and nights to save the IDPs, the conflict-affected, and vulnerable communities” One of the hospital’s staff said eagerly.

While the medical intervention started with the first aid for Jawaher, the probability of the birth shots increased, the child was not heading out, and it was the first birth delivery for the mother. As a result, those circumstances worsened the situation, and medicines were given to her to help in allowing the fetal head to come out. The child came out suffocated, but fortunately, the presence of the well-qualified medical workers resuscitated the child until he started crying. After five hours of rescue attempts, and after a full resting under medical observation; finally, Jawaher and her baby were discharged feeling grateful to the whole staff.
