When 35-year-old Hassan Owais, arrived at the Al- Rahbi Medical Center in Sana'a. Diagnosis of his condition by the medical staff - of the Yemeni Family Care Association revealed that Hassan was suffering from a chest angina which required emergency and urgent procedures.
He was immediately transferred at the expense of the association and UNHCR's refugee protection project to Al - Nasser Hospital, a private hospital in Sana'a where he was in intensive care and remained there for four days until his condition was stabilized.
Doctors emphasize, that the speed factor of the ambulance in such cases has a clear positive effect and gives the patient better chances to escape death and preventing occurrence of side effects that may in danger their lives.
