Mrs. Sona’ Allah is a 47 years old woman with two children, she lives in Amran with her family. Struggling through the current situation, Mrs. Sona’Allah has been suffering for about two months in silence from bloating and abdominal pains before collapsing in her home in Amran.

“We don’t have money and we have taken our mother to the local health center which was hardly functioning, the nurse there advised us to go to the nearest hospital because they could not figure out what was wrong with my mother, I was so scared and frustrated….

The closest hospital was in the city which meant we needed travel expenses which we did not have…I was so scared of losing my mother…” stated Mrs. Sona’Allahs 16 year’s old daughter.

Mr. Sona’ Allah’s husband was informed about the YFCA mobile clinic which is funded by the OCHA as part of the Protection Project in both Ammran and Al Hudaydah.  He did not hesitate to rush his wife for any help they can get. The mobile clinic could not define what was wrong with Mrs. Sona’Allah and her situation was rappidly declining therefore, she was referred to Sana’a for an exploratory surgery
.

Through the Exploritory Surgery, the doctors at the consultancy Hospital in Sana'a discovered that Mrs. Sona'Allah had  blockage in her intestine which caused her bloating and not passing waste for the last couple of months. The suergery was a successful one and Mr. Son’Allah is now home and is as healthy as expected after her successful surgery.
