Explore the story of the Azab Well, a vital water source that was rehabilitated to provide life-saving assistance to a drought-stricken community in Qatabah, Al-Dhale Governorate, Yemen. With funding from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), the Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) undertook a comprehensive WASH project to improve the health and well-being of the local population. Through the installation of a solar energy system, the well's water production capacity increased by over 100%, ensuring safe drinking water for over 1,000 people daily. This project exemplifies the positive impact of renewable energy and humanitarian assistance in crisis situations.
