Provision of integrated life-saving health services via Emergency Mobile Medical Teams (EMMTs) and protection support activities for IDPs and host communities.  In Altaizziyah district in Taiz Governorate.

The Yemeni Family Care Association (YFCA), in partnership with the office for the coordination of humanitarian affairs (OCHA), implemented an emergency community health and protection project. The project activities include:
  • Weekly-basis integrated outreach life-saving health care services conducted in the second and third level of HF catchment area through 4 EMMTs,
  • 120 raising awareness sessions in targeted area for community promoters on psychosocial concepts based on ISAC guideline,
  • train EMMTs staff on GBV identification (signs of abuse),
  • Establishing 4 child friendly spaces in the targeted areas,
  • Establishing a referral system for emergency/critical systems,
  • Providing child health and nutrition services,
  • Providing mental health services,
  • Providing maternal and new-born health services.
