YFCA

Yemen Family Care Assosiation (YFCA) engineers in Shabwah Governorate received a training workshop on solar water pumping systems in November/2021 provided by , project parnter, Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH) (German Humanitarian Assistance Organization) , which is funded by German Foreign Ministry (AA).

Morever, the course trainer, Jalal Saeed, gave an explanation about the characteristics of solar energy as one of the renewable and clean energy sources due to its economic and environmental advantages and training them on solar-powered water pumping systems.

Also, the workshop included the concepts of the solar water pump system and its components and methods of connecting its components. In addition to how a complete solar water pump system can be designed and how to calculate the number of panels needed for the system, selecting the suitable solar system... etc.

This kind of workshop is to enhance the participants' skills in the areas of using solar water pump energy in obtaining electrical energy as well as water.

Furthermore, Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH) (German Humanitarian Assistance Organization) seeks to build the capacities of its partners and develop their skills in several sectors as well as advisory support during the implementation of activities.
