26 surveyors received training courses on beneficiaries' registration and verification mechanism of CFW and UCT activities

Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) conducts a training course for 26 surveyors; 10 females and 16 males on beneficiaries' registration and verification mechanism of Cash For Work (CFW) and Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) activities in the Ataq district, Shabwah governorate.

26 CFW & UCT surveyors were trained on various topics, including the objectives and activities of the project, the humanitarian standards,  and the criteria for selecting beneficiaries. Besides, the methods and principles of registration and verification, minimum data to be recorded at the household level, solutions for expected errors while working in the field, explaining the criteria for selecting beneficiaries, training on how to extract information from the beneficiary, and training of volunteers on the KoBo application. The training included practical aspects of using the KoBo survey tool to collect the selected beneficiaries’ information and how to make the verification. At the end of the training, the surveyors were handed copies of the data collection tool.

CFW and UCT activities are considered the most important activities of the project of WASH and humanitarian food assistance for IDPs, host communities, returnees, and marginalized groups in six districts of Shabwah Governorate-Yemen, which is funded by the German Federal Foreign Ministry (AA) in partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH).

This training aims to:
• Familiarize trainees about YFCA and its goals, project, objectives, type, targeted beneficiaries, and motives of intervention.
• Understanding the registration & verification beneficiaries process & food security and agriculture cluster criteria of selecting beneficiaries.
• Conducting a comprehensive survey of the initial lists of beneficiaries.
• Utilize Hotline and complaints mechanism.
• Collecting & Filling all provided forms with correct data as mentioned it.
• Understanding the mechanism of the work and how to deal with field challenges & problems.
