Due to the armed conflict, Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) rapidly responded to IDPs by distributing RRM kits. 16 RRM kits within 72 hours to 9 households for the ninth response in coordination with the Executive Unit of IDPs in Ataq district, Shabwah Governorate, where the response process was conducted according to Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) project protocol.
this activity was conducted under the project of WASH and humanitarian food assistance for IDPs, host communities, returnees, and marginalized groups in six districts of Shabwah Governorate-Yemen, which is funded by the German Federal Foreign Ministry (AA) in partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH).
The Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) kit contains:
1- One Female Dignity/Transit kit.
2- Family Basic Hygiene Kits.
This activity aims to provide a first-line response to the most affected households in by the recent conflict.
