Funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, under the US Federal Award, and in partnership with AMIDEAST, YFCA started the first step of the Virtual Cultural Exchange program (Qisasna). Sixteen participants were selected after conducting a placement test for 25 students in Taiz governorate to participate in this program.
The program aims to provide the ability to create a meaningful cultural exchange opportunity between Yemeni students and their American peers. Moreover, it will support them in building their capacities, enhancing their knowledge and developing long-lasting international relationships. On top of that, it will give students the space to express their ideas and discuss many topics, such as global challenges in an international environment, social media trends and other related concerns.
