Rehabilitation and repair of Al-Shabakah water asset in Ataq district took place in September 2022. Under the direct supervision of YFCA's specialized WASH Field Engineer, and in close coordination with the local authorities and the National Water and Sanitation Authority (NWSA), the project team is working to rehabilitate and repair Al-Shabakah water asset's pump; whereas it got a complete breakdown due to the frequent electricity cuts and fuel crisis (fuel high cost/lack of supply). As a response to this dire need, YFCA supplied and installed solar panels to revive the functionality of Al-Shabakah water well.
