In coordination with General Authority for Rural Water Projects (GARWSP), Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) provided three water wells in two districts - Shabwah Gov. (Al-Shaq & Eiadh water supply systems in Jardan district and Al-Walgah water supply system in Ataq district) with total operational support (fuel) of 2,600  liters for (Oct/2022). The total targeted beneficiaries from this activity are 12,425 individuals.

This activity is considered one of the activities in the framework of the ongoing project of WASH and humanitarian food assistance for IDPs, host communities, returnees, and marginalized groups in six districts of Shabwah Governorate-Yemen, which is funded by the German Humanitarian Assistance (AA) in partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH).

The activity aimed to ensure the access of the beneficiaries to safe drinking water.
