The General Director of the Ministry of Public Health and Population in Hadhramaut Al-Wadi and Al- Sahara, Dr. Hani Khaled Al-Amoudi, met in his office, Dr. Khaled Al-Subaihi, the Project Manager of the Provision of emergency lifesaving health Interventions through the support to PHCs in Huraidhah and Rakhia districts of Hadhramaut Governorate. This intervention was implemented by Yemen Family Care Association being funded by Muslim Aid UK, in Huraidhah and Rakhia districts, which targets two health facilities, (Huraidhah Hospital and Rakhia Health Center).

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Amoudi discussed the needs, issues and challenges with Dr. Al-Subaihi and the project team. Then, an explanation was given about the object of the project, the procedures of implementation and what was included in the agreement during the project period of six consecutive months, which was signed between the Ministry of Health office in Hadhramaut Al-Wadi and Al-Sahara and Yemen Family Care Association.

From his side, Dr. Hani Al-Amoudi emphasized  the importance of the project’s success to achieve its impact on the community in the targeted districts, through improving and providing access to sustainable health services and achieving the satisfaction of the beneficiaries of primary health services and emergency services with the speed of dealing in resolving any issues that may hinder the implementation. Also, pointing out that the required Medical Services Package should be focused on; besides, the monthly evaluation of the project's work.

Dr. Al-Amoudi additionally assured that the health Office will support and seek the success of this project, as he feels belonging and responsibility toward the beneficiaries. He also ensured to do his best to serve them, noting that continuous communication will contribute to solve any issues and difficulties in case it happens.
