YFCA piloted an improved design of the Emergency Shelter Kit (ESK) in support of the Shelter Cluster. The kit has been improved to provide more protection, physical security, personal safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity. It has adapted lessons learned from previous shelter programs. 

The Yemen Shelter Cluster visited YFCA’s main office in Sana’a to observe and evaluate the final result of the prototyped ESK which will contribute in harmonizing and improving the kit design, and materials used. Hence, support the collective outcome of the Shelter Programmes in Yemen.
