YFCA Launches MPCA Distribution in Aldhale’a Governorate
Thursday, 05 March, 2026

YFCA carried out a Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) distribution for 250 households in Ash Shu’yb District, Al Dhale’a Governorate. Each household received approximately 242,000 Yemeni rials to help meet their essential, multi‑purpose needs.
This distribution is part of the field activities of the LOCAL-Lead consortium, led by YFCA and comprising Nahda Makers Organization, the Sustainable Development Foundation, and Mawadah Foundation, with advisory support from CARE Yemen. Funded by the Dutch Relief Alliance (DRA), the consortium aims to strengthen local ownership and increase direct access to funding through an innovative, community‑led humanitarian response model in Yemen.
This intervention reinforces the capacity of local organizations to make decisions and assume leadership responsibilities within the humanitarian system. YFCA reaffirms its full commitment to transparency and fairness mechanisms to ensure aid reaches the intended beneficiaries efficiently, demonstrating the effectiveness of the consortium’s localized governance model in meeting the needs of affected communities and the requirements of international donors.
