YFCA completed the third and final round of the Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA2) activity in Al-Dhale'e governorate, distributing direct financial support to 2,170 vulnerable families in the Damt and Qatabah districts.
This activity is implemented under the project “Building Resilience through Integrated Community-based and Humanitarian Systems Transformation and Leadership in Yemen (BRIGHTLY),” funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). This cash assistance enables households to meet urgent basic needs — including food, shelter, and healthcare — while providing flexibility for families to prioritize their most pressing expenses.
Distribution began in December 2025 and continued through January and February 2026. The assistance is designed not only to relieve immediate hardship caused by ongoing conflict and economic instability, but also to contribute to longer-term household resilience by giving families the autonomy to allocate resources according to their own needs.
YFCA remains committed to close engagement with local communities to ensure that aid reaches those most in need and responds effectively to changing local priorities. The successful completion of this final round marks an important milestone in the project’s efforts to support vulnerable households in Al-Dhale'e as they work toward greater stability and recovery.
