Monday, 04 May, 2026

YFCA continued to provide field-based health interventions through a mobile clinic in flood-affected areas of Al Mokha District, Taiz Governorate, Yemen, for the third consecutive week. This activity is implemented within the Emergency response to Flood-Induced Displacement and Humanitarian Needs project, in partnership with Handicap Organization, and funded by Start Fund.
During this period, the medical team provided consultations to more than 560 beneficiaries. In addition, the team delivered reproductive health services to over 115 women, along with the provision of essential medicines and medical supplies required for the targeted cases.
Furthermore, YFCA provided referral services for cases requiring additional support to the Handicap Organization team, which facilitates case-specific financial assistance based on each case’s needs.
This intervention aims to enhance access to essential health services and alleviate the suffering of affected communities, with a focus on reaching all areas impacted by the floods that occurred at the end of March 2026.
