YFCA conducted three specialized training courses for healthcare workers and Community Health and Nutrition Volunteers (CHNVs) in Al-Wazaiyah District, Taiz Governorate, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance access to quality health and nutrition services for vulnerable communities.
The trainings were implemented under the project “Providing Essential and Integrated Health and Nutrition Services to IDPs and the Most Vulnerable Communities in Taiz Governorate,” funded by Concern Worldwide.
The courses focused on strengthening participants’ technical knowledge and practical skills in key health and nutrition areas, including Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), health and nutrition awareness, immunization, and Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) counseling practices.
Through interactive learning sessions and practical exercises, the trainings contributed to enhancing the capacities and preparedness of frontline healthcare workers and community volunteers, supporting improved service delivery and community health awareness across targeted areas.
This intervention reflects YFCA’s continued commitment to building resilient community-based health systems and supporting sustainable capacity development initiatives that contribute to improving the well-being of vulnerable populations.
