Wednesday, 24 June, 2026

YFCA conducted a one-day training on Community Engagement and Behavior Change Approaches in Protection in Al-Dhalea and Shabwah governorates under the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO)-funded BRIGHTLY project.
The training brought together around 40 male and female representatives from community committees, local authorities, and project staff to strengthen their understanding of effective community engagement and behavior change approaches that support protection outcomes and community participation.
Through interactive sessions and group discussions, participants explored key principles of community engagement, including participation, accountability, inclusion, and transparency, while exchanging experiences and learning practical approaches to promoting positive behaviors within their communities.
This training reflects YFCA’s commitment to strengthening local capacities and promoting community-centered approaches that contribute to resilient and empowered communities across Yemen.
