YFCA implemented a six-day training on Farming and Agricultural Production (Home Gardening) for 14 women beneficiaries in Al-Dhale'e City District, Al-Dhale'e Governorate, from 13 to 18 June 2026, under the Building Sustainable Livelihoods (BSL) Project funded by CRS.
The training aimed to strengthen participants' agricultural knowledge and practical skills to establish and manage productive home gardens that contribute to improved household food security, sustainable livelihoods, and economic resilience.
Combining theoretical and practical sessions, the training covered home gardening techniques, crop cultivation, soil management, organic fertilization, pest management, crop rotation, and efficient irrigation practices. Participants also received home gardening kits containing seeds, organic fertilizers, and essential agricultural tools to support the establishment of their home gardens.
Through the BSL Project, YFCA continues to empower communities by promoting sustainable agricultural practices and strengthening women's capacity to improve household food production and livelihoods.
