YFCA launched the first round of Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) targeting 1,822 vulnerable households in Haydan and Munabbih districts of Sa'dah Governorate, under the Building Resilience through Integrated Community-based and Humanitarian Systems Transformation and Leadership in Yemen project, funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
The assistance provides vulnerable households with flexible financial support, enabling them to meet their most urgent needs, including food, healthcare, and other essential household expenses. By allowing families to determine their own priorities, the intervention helps protect their dignity while strengthening their capacity to cope with ongoing humanitarian and economic challenges.
The first-round marks the beginning of a three-round cash assistance programme scheduled for June, July, and August 2026, providing sustained support that contributes to improving household resilience and reducing the impact of prolonged crises on vulnerable communities.
Through this intervention, YFCA reaffirms its commitment to delivering accountable, people-centered humanitarian assistance that empowers communities, enhances resilience, and supports vulnerable families on their path toward recovery with the generous support of FCDO.
