YFCA Organizes Economic Empowerment Exhibition to Promote Sustainable Livelihoods in Al Dhale'e Gov.
Thursday, 23 July, 2026

YFCA organized an Economic Empowerment Exhibition in Al Dhale’e Governorate on 20 July 2026, providing a platform for 50 beneficiaries to showcase and market products developed through the Building Sustainable Livelihoods Yemen (BSL) project, supported by Catholic Relief Services (CRS).
The exhibition featured a diverse range of products and services representing livelihood activities supported by the project, including sewing and garment production, livestock, grocery, electrical installations and solar energy, motorcycle maintenance, and beekeeping. The event highlighted the progress beneficiaries achieved after completing vocational and business skills training and receiving support to establish their income-generating activities.
Designed to strengthen market access and promote economic inclusion, the exhibition enabled beneficiaries—particularly women and vulnerable groups—to connect directly with customers, generate income, and increase the visibility of their businesses. It also provided an opportunity to showcase inspiring success stories demonstrating how the project has contributed to building sustainable livelihoods and enhancing self-reliance.
Prior to the event, products underwent quality checks, transparent pricing, and organized categorization to ensure professional presentation. Throughout the exhibition, beneficiaries actively engaged with visitors, promoted their products, and documented sales, while also exchanging experiences and lessons learned.
The exhibition concluded with the distribution of participation certificates and reaffirmed YFCA's commitment to continuing post-project follow-up and business support to help beneficiaries sustain and expand their enterprises.
