It is with profound sadness and sorrow, and with hearts that submit to Allah's will and decree, that the Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) mourns the loss of our dear colleague, Abdullatif Jameel Ali Saleh, Warehouse Keeper at Al-Mahattah Distribution Point, Maqbanah District, Taiz.

He passed away after being directly struck by a gunshot that claimed his life while carrying out his humanitarian and professional duties in Maqbanah District, becoming a martyr in the line of duty and humanitarian service.

The deceased was a model of sincerity, integrity, and courage. He worked under the most difficult circumstances to ensure that humanitarian assistance reached those most in need, remaining steadfast in his noble mission of serving his community until his final moments.

This painful tragedy reminds us all of the immense sacrifices and challenges our colleagues in the field face every day. As we strongly condemn any targeting of humanitarian and relief personnel, we reaffirm that the protection of humanitarian workers is a moral and humanitarian responsibility that must not be compromised.

On behalf of YFCA's management and all its staff, we extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family of the deceased, his child who witnessed this tragedy, all who loved him, and all his colleagues in the Taiz Office.

We pray to Almighty Allah to envelop him in His boundless mercy and to grant his family, loved ones, and colleagues patience and solace.

"Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return"
