YFCA continued delivering protection interventions throughout July 2026 in Al-Azariq District, Ad Dali’ Governorate under the project “Provision of Life-Saving Assistance in Protection Sector for Displaced and Vulnerable Populations” funded by YHF. The initiative targeted internally displaced persons and vulnerable host community members, aiming to strengthen safety, dignity, and resilience.
During the reporting period, YFCA’s mobile protection team registered 300 individuals facing protection concerns and completed vulnerability assessments for 283 cases. To improve community awareness and reduce risks, the project also conducted protection awareness sessions for 207 community members, with key messages focusing on the dangers of child labour and early marriage. In addition, 43 individuals received psychosocial support (PSS) sessions, helping address emotional distress and psychosocial needs.
The project further provided Individual Protection Assistance to 105 beneficiaries, and supported 42 people to access essential services. Legal support remained a core component of the response, as 211 individuals were consulted for legal assistance and were guided to register for civil documentation support. Notably, female beneficiaries represented 70% of recipients, reflecting YFCA’s focus on reaching the most at-risk groups.
Through this integrated approach, YFCA remains committed to restoring protection, supporting dignity, and promoting safer conditions for displaced and vulnerable communities across Ad Dali’.
