17 July 2017 The Executive Director of the Yemeni Family Care Association (YFCA), Mr. Nabil Al-Ammari hosted a meeting at YFCA Head office in Sana’a with the UNFPA represented by the Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Yemen Ms. Anjali Sen and her team. Both parties discussed the distinguished Partnership and Cooperation between both Organizations to review the Projects and Community activities carried out by YFCA in different regions of Yemen, which include all the mandates of Health, Food, Protection, Motherhood and Childhood, Water interventions and Environmental Sanitation as well as challenges faced during the implementation of projects. The importance of strengthening the Partnership between the two organizations was emphasized especially during the coming period, with the increasing need to provide assistance to the most vulnerable people.
During the meeting, the strategic Partnership between YFCA and the UNFPA that has been present for years and during this partnership, many projects were implemented which benefited a large segment of the most vulnerable population in the country.
