A training course was organized in the governorate of Al-Mahwait on the awareness and definition of cholera within the project of the rapid response to the cholera epidemic implemented by the Yemen Family Care Association with the support of OCHA.
The three-day course, during which 90 trainees from the Watery diarrhea treatment centers in the Districts of Taweelah, Shibam and Bani Saad received information about the cholera epidemic and its risks, methods of prevention, and the means of delivering awareness messages to the community.
The training course was organized by Yemen Family Care Association within the framework of the Cholera Response Project and aims to raise awareness among the target population of the awareness and education skills to the local communities.
