Monday August 7th – Sana’a

A visit was conducted by the Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Yemen, Dr Nevio Zagaria, and the Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Mohammed bin Hafeez to the Safe Motherhood Specialized Hospital (SMSH) and Reproductive Health (RH) Centre in the area of Sawan in the capital Sana'a at which they had a tour to the facilities of the hospital and the specialty clinics.
The Director of the World Health Organization and the Minister of Health then visited YFCA’s main office where discussions were hosted by the Executive Director of the Yemen Family Care Association Mr. Nabil Ammari and the team about the services and interventions provided by the Association in various social fields and the possibility of a future partnership between YFCA and WHO.
