Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) concluded the activity of hygiene promotion awareness sessions in five districts - Shabwah governorate; 1,000 awareness sessions were conducted in hygiene promotion for a period of 9 months; the  sessions were counducted with the key hygiene promotion messages as follows:-
• Water-borne diseases;
• vector-borne diseases;
• waste safe disposal;
• water treatment;
• symptoms and prevention methods Corona Virus (COVID-19)
The number of attendees of the sessions within 9 months reached are 12,865 individuals inclouding women, men, boys and girsl.
This activity aimed that the population in targeted communities have sustained access to safe drinking water.
