YFCA Provides Cash Assistance for Home Rehabilitation to Families Affected by Conflict in Taiz Governorate

As part of the project "Provision of sustainable shelter solutions for persons affected by protracted crises and returnees ", activities, YFCA has disbursed a total of $92,160 to 96 deserving households as a second phase in Al-Modhafar district, Taiz Governorate, to rehabilitate their homes that have been damaged by the ongoing conflict. Each household has received an initial amount of $960, empowering them to purchase materials and implement the rehabilitation under YFCA’s supervision.

This cash assistance initiative is an integral part of a broader housing rehabilitation activity designed to restore the dignity and security of families and communities deeply impacted by the conflicts. By addressing the immediate needs of these households and facilitating the restoration of their homes, YFCA aims to instill a renewed sense of hope and improve their overall well-being.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to YFCA for helping them rebuild their homes and lives. They said that the project not only met their immediate needs but also instilled hope within them.
