YFCA recently participated in a kick-off workshop organized by Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH) to launch the "Multi-sectoral Emergency Response to Support IDPs and Other Vulnerable Groups in Ad Dali' and Shabwah Governorates" project. Supported by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) fund, the project aims to provide immediate assistance to vulnerable individuals in targeted districts of Shabwa and Ad Dali' governorates.
The workshop served as a platform for the YFCA and DKH teams to establish a common understanding of project activities, implementation methodologies, and donor requirements. It also facilitated discussions on risks and mitigation measures. By prioritizing basic needs such as food, safe drinking water, sanitation, hygiene, health, and protection services, the project aims to alleviate the hardships faced by internally displaced persons (IDPs) and other vulnerable groups.
The kick-off workshop marks a crucial step towards effective project implementation. The YFCA and DKH teams are committed to working together and utilizing a coordinated approach to ensure the project's success. Through this multi-sectoral emergency response project, the most vulnerable individuals in Ad Dali' and Shabwah governorates will receive the necessary support and resources they urgently require.
