YFCA has launched a new project to support the resilience and transformation of vulnerable communities in Yemen. The project, called "Building Resilience through Integrated Transformation and Leadership in Yemen" (BRIGHTLY), is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and implemented by a consortium of partners. this event was organized with the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation (SCMCHA) branch and local authorities in targeted districts in Saadah governorate.
The kick-off workshop for the BRIGHTLY project was held on Thursday, October 26th, in Sa'ada governorate, one of the three governorates targeted by the project. The workshop brought together the project team, local authorities, and key stakeholders to discuss the project's goals, activities, and expected outcomes.
The BRIGHTLY project aims to address the critical challenges related to food security, resilience, and self-reliance for vulnerable households in Yemen, especially those affected by conflict and displacement. The project will focus on marginalized groups, such as women, girls, people with disabilities, and internally displaced persons (IDPs), and provide them with comprehensive support and opportunities.

The project will adopt a community-based approach to foster coordination and collaboration among local actors and stakeholders. The project will also promote integrated transformation and leadership among the beneficiaries, empowering them to become agents of change in their own communities.

The kick-off workshop marked the beginning of a four-year journey for the BRIGHTLY project. YFCA expressed its enthusiasm and commitment to work closely with the local community and stakeholders to make the project a success.
