YFCA, with funding from Muslim Aid and UMCOR, conducted training for 25 Farmers in Haridah District of Hadramaut. The training included theoretical and practical sessions, equipping them with knowledge and skills in agricultural best practices, specifically for sorghum and cowpea farming. To facilitate their agricultural activities, YFCA distributed seed kits to each of the 25 BNFs.
Each seed kit contains 10 kilograms of cowpea seeds, 10 kilograms of sorghum, and essential farming tools. In addition, YFCA has also provided "Land Preparation/Tillage Support" fees to cover 0.25 hectares of land for each farmer.
Through these efforts, YFCA aims to empower and support the 25 farmers in establishing sustainable farming practices, contributing to their self-reliance, and improving their livelihoods.
