YFCA Implements Shelter Maintenance and Upgrade for 200 HHs in Marib City

YFCA successfully completed Shelter Maintenance and Upgrade activity in Marib District, as part of the project, Provision of sustainable shelter solutions for persons affected by protracted crises and returnees in Marib district- Marib Gov., Almtoon district - Aljawf Gov. & Almodhafar district - Taiz Gov, funded by YHF. This targeted intervention, benefiting 200 households, focused on minor repairs and upgrades, including roof fixes, structural enhancements, and basic amenity improvements. The initiative, had a profound impact on the lives of the beneficiaries. By actively involving the residents in the decision-making process, YFCA ensured that the interventions aligned with their needs and aspirations. 

The activity carried out by YFCA aimed to create safer and more resilient living spaces for the internally displaced persons (IDPs) residing in Marib District. Through the repairs and enhancements, YFCA demonstrated its unwavering commitment to elevating living conditions and increasing the well-being of the affected households. The project encompassed a range of improvements, including roof repairs to address leaks and damages, minor structural enhancements to reinforce the stability of the shelters, and basic amenity upgrades to enhance the overall comfort of the living spaces. These efforts were instrumental in providing the IDPs with homes that were better equipped to withstand the challenges posed by their circumstances.
