YFCA, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (AA) and In partnership with) Diakonie-Katastrophenhilfe (DKH), conducted two crucial training courses for healthcare workers in Ad Dali’ district of Ad Dali’ Governorate. The first course, focusing on Basic Life Support (BLS), saw the participation of 20 health workers from targeted health facilities. The training covered essential medical procedures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), airway management, bleeding control, and shock management. The second course centered on Infection Prevention and Control (IPS) and included another 20 healthcare workers from the same facilities. This training aimed to equip healthcare professionals with knowledge on preventing infections, maintaining cleanliness in healthcare-related environments, and adhering to necessary procedures and precautions to prevent infection. These training courses form part of a broader initiative to build and enhance the capacities of health staff in targeted health facilities. By providing opportunities for healthcare professionals to improve their medical knowledge and skills, YFCA aims to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to the community. YFCA’s initiative to provide these training courses underscores their commitment to supporting healthcare professionals and enhancing their skill sets. Through continued collaboration and support, YFCA hopes to foster a healthier, more resilient community for generations to come.
