YFCA, in a collaborative effort with the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, launched the second comprehensive cleanliness campaign in Ad Dali’ Governorate. The initiative implemented is part of the Multi-sectoral Emergency Response to support IDPs and other vulnerable groups in Ad Dali’ and Shabwah Governorates funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (AA) in partnership with the Diakonie-Katastrophenhilfe (DKH). The comprehensive cleanliness campaign, which is carried out by 50 cleaning workers, targets the districts of Ad Dali’ and Ash Shu'ayb. One of its most important goals is to raise community awareness in the field of cleanliness to avoid environmental disasters by accumulating them in public and densely populated areas and to maintain public cleanliness and protect the environment from pollution and not throw waste randomly. This campaign also has a significant impact on the community in the targeted areas in terms of the environmental view, reducing bad smells and increasing the spread of diseases. This comprehensive cleanliness campaign aligns with YFCA the ongoing efforts to enhance public cleanliness standards in Ad Dali' governorate and promotes community awareness regarding the crucial role cleanliness plays in preserving public health and the environment. By fostering a culture of cleanliness, the campaign aspires to create lasting behavior change and cultivate a cleaner and healthier living environment for all.
