Al-Modhafar District in Taiz
In a significant move towards providing durable housing solutions, Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) completed the second phase of its house rehabilitation project in Taiz Governorate, Yemen. This initiative, which is a part of a comprehensive shelter and education intervention program, has been made possible through the generous funding from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.
In this latest distribution, YFCA allocated $600 to each of the 40 selected families, contributing to 30% of the total amount required for the rehabilitation, which amounts to $2,000 per household. This financial support has been instrumental in meeting the priority needs of these families, enabling them to proceed with the necessary renovations to their homes.
As the families embark on the journey to rebuild their homes, YFCA stands as a beacon of hope, demonstrating the power of collaborative efforts in bringing about positive change in times of adversity.
