YFCA had the honor to organize a joint visit to Rehab Hospital in Ibb Hospital, with high officials from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), represented by Dr.Robert, RH coordinator in the  UNFPA in Yemen along with Dr. Hussam. The purpose of the visit was to assess the hospital’s operations and the quality of maternal and reproductive healthcare services provided. 

The delegation had the opportunity to tour various departments within the hospital, including the emergency obstetric units, the intensive care units, operating theaters, family planning services departments, pharmacies, and neonatal intensive care units. This comprehensive tour provided valuable insights into the hospital’s operations and highlighted areas of strength as well as opportunities for further development.

During the visit, Dr.Robert, expressed his deep admiration for the exceptional quality of services offered by Rehab Hospital. She highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between UNFPA, YFCA, and the hospital to enhance maternal and newborn healthcare services. Dr.Robert, also underscored the significance of ongoing support for Rehab Hospital through YFCA, emphasizing the shared commitment to improving healthcare standards.

The visit to Rehab Hospital serves as a testament to the ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services in Yemen, particularly in the critical areas of maternal and newborn care.
