As part of its ongoing efforts to improve environmental and health conditions, YFCA  completed a vital environmental activity to suction sewage in the Seiyun and Al-Shahr districts of Hadramaut Governorate. This comes within the activities “Emergency Relief in Shelter and WASH for Flood-Affected Individuals,”  project funded by Muslim Aid and START Network.

Through this project, YFCA aims to reduce the risk of the spread of infectious diseases such as cholera and support efforts to combat climate change. About 800 cubic meters of sewage were removed, at a rate of 400 cubic meters in each area, and transported to the Water and Sanitation Corporation landfill far from residential areas.

These efforts reflect the association's commitment to improving the environment and public health, and represent an important step towards a more sustainable and healthy future for the community in Seiyun and Al-Shahr.
