In a significant stride towards bolstering healthcare infrastructure in Ma’rib, YFCA, funded by YHF provided essential medicines, medical supplies, laboratory solutions, and equipment to Al-Wahda (Al Hosun) Hospital, the Diarrhea Treatment Center (DTC), and the Emergency Medical Team (EMMTs).

The provision of these much-needed resources is expected to have a profound impact on healthcare delivery in the district. Al-Wahda Hospital, serving as a cornerstone of medical services in Ma’rib, will now be equipped with the necessary tools to address a wide range of medical needs effectively. Furthermore, the emergency medical team will be empowered to provide swift and efficient care to individuals in urgent need, thereby enhancing the overall emergency response capacity in the area.

The tangible effect of this support is already being felt across healthcare facilities (HFs) in Ma’rib. Patients can now access essential medications and treatments without delay, ensuring timely and effective healthcare interventions. Moreover, healthcare providers are better equipped to deliver quality care, leading to improved health outcomes for the community.

This collaborative effort between YHF and YFCA exemplifies the commitment to improving healthcare access and quality in Ma’rib. It brings hope and renewed resilience to the people of the region, emphasizing the importance of collective action in addressing critical healthcare challenges.
