Sayon and Alshehr, Hadramout –
In response to the recent devastating floods YFCA took swift action to support the affected communities in Sayon and Alshehr Districts. With the generous funding of Muslim Aid and the Start Network, YFCA distributed a total of 493 Non-Food Item (NFI) kits to those in need as part of the Emergency Shelter and WASH Relief for Flood-Affected Individuals in Hadhramaut Governorate project.

The distribution included 373 kits in Sayon District and 120 kits in Alshehr District. Each kit contained essential items such as blankets, mattresses, kitchen utensils, and solar energy devices, providing much-needed relief to families grappling with the aftermath of the floods.

These NFI kits are more than just supplies; they represent a lifeline for the affected communities, helping to restore a sense of normalcy and dignity during this challenging time. The efforts of YFCA, supported by its partners, underscore the importance of solidarity and timely intervention in the face of natural disasters.
