Taiz, Yemen – In a significant step towards sustainable living, YFCA distributed renewable energy kits to 40 deserving families in the Al-Modhafar District of Taiz. This initiative is part of Provision of durable solutions through a comprehensive shelter, and education interventions in Taiz Governorate Project funded by Conrad N. Hilton Foundation
Each kit includes essential components for a complete off-grid power system: a battery, a solar panel, a controller, an inverter, solar lamps, and other necessary items. This follows YFCA’s previous financial assistance, which provided $2,000 per household for home rehabilitation.
The renewable energy systems are designed to power essential appliances and lighting, ensuring reliable electricity access for these families as they rebuild their lives. By providing these kits, YFCA aims to contribute to more comfortable and sustainable living conditions in Al-Modhafar District.
