YFCA initiated the Blanket Supplementary Feeding Program (BSFP) in the Hajjah governorate, focusing on four critical districts: Mastaba, Khayran Al Muharraq, Qafl Shamr, and Aflah Alyaman.
This program is a key component of YFCA’s broader strategy to implement preventive and life-saving nutrition interventions. The primary goal is to combat malnutrition among pregnant and lactating women, as well as children under the age of two.
The BSFP activity is part of the Promotion of Preventive and Lifesaving Nutrition Intervention project funded by the World Food Programme (WFP). Nutritional commodities will be distributed at designated Food Distribution Points (FDPs) with the assistance of community health volunteers. This initiative underscores YFCA’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of vulnerable populations in Yemen.
