YFCA Distributes Cholera Kits to Combat Outbreak in Ad Dali’ Governorate

Al Azariq District, Ad Dali’ Governorate-
In a concerted effort to combat the spread of cholera and provide essential support to the local community, Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) distributed cholera kits to 226 targeted households. This initiative was carried out in coordination with the Governorate Health Office (GHO) and the Diarrhea Treatment Center (DTC) at De Al-Jalal Maternity and Childcare Health Center.
This distribution is part of the ongoing project titled “Integrated and Multisectoral Health and WASH Rapid Response to Cholera Outbreak in Al Azariq District,” funded by Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH). The project aims to provide essential resources for the prevention, treatment, and containment of cholera cases within the community.
The primary objectives of this activity include:
•    Providing essential resources for the prevention, treatment, and containment of cholera cases.
•    Offering crucial support and healthcare resources to the local community.
•    Preventing and managing cholera cases in the region.
YFCA’s initiative underscores the importance of coordinated efforts in addressing public health crises and highlights the ongoing need for support and resources to manage and prevent cholera outbreaks in vulnerable communities.
