Taiz, Yemen – YFCA completed the third round of its 2024 food assistance distribution in six districts of Taiz Governorate: Al-Shamayatin, Al-Mawasit, Maqbana, Al-Salu, Al-Ma’afer, and Jabal Habashi. This initiative is part of the General Food Assistance Project funded by the World Food Programme (WFP).
The distribution reached a total of 50,742 beneficiaries, providing essential food supplies to support families in need. Each beneficiary received:

- 25 kg of flour
- 20 kg of rice
- 4 liters of vegetable oil
- 3 kg of legumes
Such assistance aims to reduce the number of people at risk, preventing the increase in populations experiencing famine-like and emergency conditions. This effort is crucial in alleviating food insecurity and improving the well-being of vulnerable populations in the region.
