Taiz – YFCA attended a consultative workshop on livelihood projects in Taiz Governorate, organized by the World Food Programme (WFP) Taiz office. The workshop discussed the local authorities' plans, led by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, for the coming years. It also included sharing experiences, knowledge, and available resources to enhance understanding of potential support for livelihoods in line with WFP’s upcoming initiatives in the region.
During the workshop, YFCA team presented a study conducted in the Al-Shamayatayn District, focusing on livelihood opportunities for youth in the area. The study aims to identify available opportunities for young people and promote sustainable livelihoods for them, aligning with local development goals and the WFP's directions.
The participation of the Family Care Association in this workshop is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation with local and international entities and support projects that contribute to improving livelihoods for local communities in Taiz. By exchanging experiences and knowledge, the association seeks to promote sustainable development and achieve economic and social stability in the region.
