Friday, 03 January, 2025

YFCA took a significant step in improving healthcare services by supplying targeted health facilities with essential medicines, medical supplies, and hygiene materials. This initiative is part of the "Provision of Essential Trauma Lifesaving Health Care Services" project, aimed at supporting the most vulnerable populations, including internally displaced persons (IDPs) and host communities, and responding to the cholera outbreak in Marib City and Marib Al Wadi districts.
The project aims to improve the quality of healthcare by ensuring the availability of necessary medicines and medical supplies, which are crucial for enhancing the services provided. Additionally, it focuses on infection prevention by supplying hygiene materials to promote a clean and safe environment within health facilities. Meeting patients' needs effectively is another key objective, ensuring that they have access to the required medicines and medical supplies.
Furthermore, the initiative seeks to increase the efficiency of healthcare workers by providing them with the necessary tools to deliver appropriate care. It also aims to strengthen the capacity of health facilities to respond swiftly to health crises and emergencies, thereby enhancing their crisis response capabilities. Lastly, the project emphasizes raising health awareness about the importance of cleanliness and sterilization in health facilities.
This comprehensive approach underscores the commitment of the Family Care Association to improving healthcare outcomes and ensuring the well-being of vulnerable populations in Marib.
