YFCA, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), equipped health facilities in several districts of Al-Dhale’e and Al-Hudaydah Governorates with essential supplies as part of Provision of life-saving nutrition assistance for the most vulnerable groups Project.
The targeted districts include Juban, Qa'tabah, Al-Dhale’e, and Damt in Al-Dhale’e Governorate, as well as Bayt Al-Faqeeh district in Al-Hudaydah Governorate. Each health facility in these areas received nutrition-related medications, hygiene kits (HKs), information, education, and communication (IEC) materials, and Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) tools for nutritional screening.
These supplies are specifically intended to enhance the capacity of health facilities to address malnutrition, promote proper hygiene practices, and improve awareness of nutrition through education. The medications provided are targeted at treating and managing nutrition-related health conditions, ensuring that vulnerable populations, especially children and pregnant women, receive the care they need.
This initiative highlights YFCA's commitment to improving nutrition-focused healthcare services in underserved areas and tackling the challenges of malnutrition.
