Sunday, 02 February, 2025

YFCA stepped in to provide crucial support to affected families. In coordination with the Executive Unit of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Aden, YFCA distributed one-off Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) to 402 households in the Dar Saad district.

This timely intervention is part of a broader project aimed at delivering integrated and emergency responses to those impacted by flash floods and heavy rains in Dar Saad. The project, generously funded by Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH), seeks to alleviate the immediate financial burdens faced by affected families, enabling them to meet their essential needs during this challenging period.

The floods caused significant damage to homes and infrastructure, leaving many families in urgent need of assistance. YFCA's MPCA initiative is designed to provide flexible financial support, allowing recipients to prioritize their most pressing needs, whether it be food, shelter, or medical care.

YFCA's commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in Yemen continues to be a beacon of hope for many, as they work tirelessly to provide relief and aid to those in need.
