YFCA delivered a substantial shipment of essential medicines, medical equipment, and furniture to Al-Ghareef Health Unit in Al-Wazi’iyah District, Taiz Governorate. This initiative was part of the project "Providing Essential and Integrated Health and Nutrition Services to IDPs and the Most Vulnerable Populations in Waziyah District, Taiz Governorate," funded by Concern Worldwide. The delivery aligns with ongoing efforts to improve healthcare accessibility and sustainability in underserved regions.

The support package includes:
•    Essential medicines for infectious diseases, emergency care, and intravenous treatments.
•    Diagnostic equipment to enhance early disease detection and accuracy in medical examinations.
•    Hygiene and sterilization supplies to ensure compliance with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) standards, reducing infection risks for patients and staff.
•    Furniture and organizational tools, such as medical record cabinets, to optimize workflow and data management.

In alignment with its Localization Strategy, YFCA coordinated closely with Taiz’s local health authorities to tailor support to the community’s needs. All supplies were procured from Yemeni suppliers, reinforcing the local economy and ensuring long-term availability of medical resources.

YFCA remains dedicated to bridging gaps in healthcare access, particularly in crisis-affected regions. By equipping facilities like Al-Ghareef Health Unit, the association advances its goal of ensuring dignified, quality care for all Yemenis, regardless of location or socioeconomic status
