YFCA Launches School Rehabilitation in Al-Mudhafar District, Taiz

In a significant step towards revitalizing the education sector in Yemen, Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA), funded by the Hilton Foundation, has officially commenced the rehabilitation of Al-Marhoom Abdu Mohammed Rajeh Primary and Secondary School in Al-Mudhafar District, Taiz Governorate. This initiative is part of the project titled "Provision of durable solutions through comprehensive shelter and education interventions in Taiz Governorate- Yemen."
The rehabilitation aims to restore the school’s infrastructure and enhance the learning environment for both students and teachers, ultimately contributing to a safer and more motivating educational setting.
A handover ceremony for the school site marked the official start of the rehabilitation works. This project reflects YFCA’s ongoing commitment to support vital sectors in conflict-affected areas and empower local communities through sustainable development interventions.
This initiative exemplifies the importance of education in rebuilding communities affected by conflict, ensuring that children have access to quality learning environments that foster growth and development.
