During the visit, the team conducted interviews for candidates for the community members and selected (20) candidate from Al-Durayhimi District areas of (Al-Quiyzi, Wadi Remaan, Al-Shujayrah and Al-Jerba’a Al-Olea’a).

Then the new members of the Community Committees were trained for four (4) days on four topics: Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Case referral, Protection and Psychological support.

The protection team met also with the deputy governor of Al Hodeidah, Director of Health Office and director of Al-Durayhimi district to discuss the means of facilitating the process of implementing the project in the targeted areas.
